Head of Facilities Operations (Specialized Parks & Recreational Facilities)

Job Purpose

Lead and oversee the operations, maintenance, and development of specialized parks and recreational facilities, ensuring high-quality services, visitor safety, and satisfaction, while driving investment opportunities and partnerships with the private sector.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee operations of all specialized parks and recreational facilities within the assigned scope, ensuring safety and visitor satisfaction.
  2. Ensure proper maintenance and protection of assets, preventing misuse or damage in line with global best practices.
  3. Monitor daily operations, ensuring compliance with international standards and operational excellence.
  4. Contribute to the development of strategic plans to enhance facilities and services.
  5. Lead the execution of development and improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  6. Oversee design and implementation of exhibitions and attractions within parks and facilities.
  7. Ensure execution aligns with technical and aesthetic standards.
  8. Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  9. Prepare feasibility studies and technical assessments for investment projects.
  10. Provide technical recommendations to support investment decisions and partnerships.
  11. Define technical requirements, standards, and specifications for contractors and service providers.
  12. Review contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with operational and technical scope.
  13. Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with SLAs and technical standards.
  14. Take corrective actions on non-compliance or operational issues.
  15. Develop and implement visitor guidelines and safety instructions.
  16. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure proper signage and visitor information systems.
  17. Regularly update operational guidelines based on business needs and changes.
  18. Prepare monthly and periodic reports on operations, projects, KPIs, and challenges.
  19. Ensure compliance with information security policies and report any violations.
  20. Perform any additional duties as assigned.

المهارات

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Experience:
    • UAE Nationals: 9 years
    • Expatriates: 11 years
  • Strong background in:
    • Facilities Operations
    • Maintenance Management
    • Team Leadership

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
  • Certified Public Relations Specialist (CPRS)
