Senior Urban Heritage Studies Specialist

Job Purpose
Conduct research, studies, and urban/architectural projects related to historical sites and heritage areas, while developing reports and insights aligned with development plans and global best practices in urban heritage management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and studies on global best practices in architectural and urban conservation and apply relevant insights within the organization.
- Prepare urban and architectural studies and projects for historical sites and heritage areas.
- Develop reports, research papers, and marketing publications for heritage buildings, sites, and historical districts in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze global trends and advancements in urban heritage and archaeology management, and provide recommendations for implementation.
- Develop and support institutional plans, programs, and initiatives aimed at raising community awareness and promoting cultural heritage.
- Prepare periodic progress reports, including KPIs, challenges, solutions, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Participate in meetings, technical committees, and seminars, delivering presentations and research papers as required.
- Coordinate with local and international entities, organizations, and institutions to implement joint research projects and exchange expertise.
- Support participation in regional and international awards related to urban heritage.
- Carry out any additional tasks assigned in line with the nature of the role.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
- Experience:
- UAE Nationals: 4–6 years
