Job Purpose
To support the effective delivery of employee relations services by coordinating day-to-day activities, assisting in the management of employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and internal policies, and maintaining accurate and confidential records. The role contributes to promoting a positive, compliant, and professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations Support

Act as the first point of contact for routine employee relations queries, escalating complex matters as appropriate.

Support the handling of employee grievances, disciplinary cases, workplace issues, and employee complaints.

Assist in investigations by coordinating meetings, collecting information, and maintaining case documentation.

Ensure timely follow-up and closure of employee relations cases in accordance with approved procedures.
Policy & Compliance

Support the consistent application of HR policies, Code of Conduct, and internal regulations.

Provide basic guidance to employees and managers on employee relations processes and policies.

Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law and internal governance requirements.
Documentation & Records Management
-
Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee relations records and files.

Prepare correspondence, case summaries, reports, and meeting minutes related to employee relations matters.

Support internal audits and compliance reviews by ensuring proper documentation.
Coordination & Stakeholder Support

Coordinate with HR colleagues, line managers, Legal, and Compliance teams on employee relations matters.

Schedule disciplinary hearings, grievance meetings, and appeal sessions as required.

Liaise with external parties when necessary under supervision.
Employee Awareness & Engagement

Support employee awareness initiatives related to workplace conduct, ethics, and HR policies.

Assist in organizing training sessions and communication related to employee relations topics.

Promote a respectful, inclusive, and professional workplace culture.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Assist in preparing periodic employee relations reports and dashboards.

Track trends and recurring issues to support improvement of ER practices and processes.

Contribute to HR initiatives and process enhancements as assigned.
Skills
Qualifications & Experience
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in Employee Relations or Human Resources within the UAE
-
Experience working in a government or semi-government environment is preferred
-
Practical exposure to employee relations case support and HR operations
-
Working knowledge of UAE Labor Law and HR policies
