1- Perform complex accounting activities and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
2- Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements and financial reports in accordance with IPSAS.
3- Handle technical accounting matters, including complex transactions, adjustments, provisions, accruals, and reconciliations.
4- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely completion.
5- Prepare and review account reconciliations, trial balances, journals, and supporting schedules.
6- Analyze accounting balances and investigate discrepancies, errors, and unusual movements.
7- Apply IPSAS requirements directly to accounting transactions and ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
8- Prepare accounting adjustments and corrective entries where required.
9- Maintain accurate and complete accounting records and supporting documentation.
10- Perform detailed reviews of financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
11- Support the preparation of audit schedules and respond to audit requirements.
12- Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and reporting practices.
13- Take ownership of assigned accounting activities and deliver high-quality outputs with minimal supervision.
14- Experience with Oracle Accounting Modules is a plus
