Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi for ongoing and upcoming ADNOC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all construction activities to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and ADNOC requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing large-scale Oil & Gas, EPC, or major civil infrastructure projects and have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects from initiation through completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site construction activities to ensure project objectives are achieved in terms of safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
• Develop and implement construction execution plans, work methodologies, and resource allocation strategies.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project controls, QA/QC, HSE, and subcontractor teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor construction progress and proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, UAE regulations, and industry best practices.
• Review and approve construction schedules, manpower plans, equipment requirements, and subcontractor work plans.
• Manage construction contractors and subcontractors, ensuring performance aligns with project requirements and contractual obligations.
• Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings, and coordination reviews with stakeholders.
• Ensure all construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, procedures, and quality standards.
• Support project commissioning and handover activities, ensuring successful project completion and client acceptance.
• Prepare and present construction progress reports, forecasts, and performance updates to senior management and clients.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, safety, and construction performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent Engineering discipline.
• Professional certifications in Project Management or Construction Management will be an advantage.
• Membership in a recognized engineering or construction professional body is preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 15–20 years of progressive construction experience within Oil & Gas, EPC, Energy, or major Civil Infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Construction Manager or equivalent leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects from construction phase through commissioning and handover.
• Mandatory ADNOC project experience within the UAE.
• Must be ADNOC approved as a Construction Manager or equivalent position.
• Extensive experience managing multidisciplinary construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• ADNOC-approved Construction Manager with extensive experience on ADNOC projects.
• Proven success in delivering Oil & Gas, EPC, or major civil infrastructure projects safely and efficiently.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage large project teams and contractors.
• Results-oriented professional with a commitment to quality, safety, and project excellence.
