Welder Cum Fabricator

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Strong background in industrial welding and fabrication

The role requires hands-on experience in the following areas:

• Perform Arc, MIG, TIG, and gas welding as required.
• Fabricate machine guards, platforms, ladders, handrails, supports, and structural components.
• Repair cracked or damaged machine frames, bases, and structural members.
• Fabricate replacement parts from engineering drawings or samples.
• Carry out cutting, grinding, drilling, bending, and fitting activities.
• Carry out emergency welding during machine breakdowns.

• Repair overhead crane rails, crane structures, and maintenance platforms (as instructed).

• Repair cable drum handling equipment and lifting accessories.

Assist in installation and relocation of production machinery

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES;

• Secondary School Certificate with a valid driving licence to operate both heavy and light duty forklift trucks
• 2 or more years of relevant forklift and warehouse operation experience within a large manufacturing plant, preferably in the cable industry

WORKING HOURS AND DAYS

• Three rotating shift (8 hours each)
• 6 days week
