Commercial Partnerships Officer

1/ How you will fit into the organization
As Commercial Partnerships Officer, you will –

+ Report to the Head of Commercial Partnerships (himself reporting to the Director leading the Commercial & Digital Enablement)

+ Be part of the Commercial & Digital Enablement division

+ Identify and manage Procurement and supplier needs in coordination with divisions, and support the Head of Commercial Partnerships in developing Procurement strategies, guidelines, and processes

+ Be based in Abu Dhabi

2/ What you will be doing
+ You will coordinate with various stakeholders to develop a Commercial Partnerships strategy in line with the Company’s needs and local regional standards. You will support the Head of Commercial Partnerships in developing Company Commercial Partnerships strategy, including detailed sourcing plans to enhance efficiency. You will participate in interactions with key sectors, divisions, and sections to identify Company needs. You will support in developing and regularly reviewing Company Procurement policies, guidelines and processes in line with Abu Dhabi Tenders and Procurement Law. You will review supply chains, business, and services to ensure compliance with Company procedures and processes and with Abu Dhabi Government Procurement guidelines.
+ You will manage the Company Procurement process end-to-end. You will help prepare the necessary documents to procure products and services, including RFIs and RFPs, in cooperation with the Legal Section and any relevant sector/division/section. You will review and assess submitted service proposals (e.g. advisory services) and products received to propose options (according to the topic). You will support the Head of Commercial Partnerships in conducting appropriate negotiations on product and service prices with partners as needed. You will purchase products and services from authorized suppliers. You will track and ensure timely delivery of purchased products and services. You will work closely with Accounting during the Procurement cycle to help prepare the budget and reports.

+ You will maintain Procurement process records. You will update Procurement records and data. You will prepare and present periodic market scan reports to the Head of Commercial Partnerships.
+ You will ensure best practices. You will implement Procurement processes to ensure the adoption of best practices and reduce costs. You will proactively monitor markets in Abu Dhabi (and globally) for developments in product/service efficiency, suppliers and product offerings and prices, and present outputs to the Head of Commercial Partnership.
