Job Description

ABOUT THE CLIENT:

The organization, originally established in 2008 under the name UAE Football League, transitioned into a committee under the UAE Football Association in 2011. In 2019, its legal status was formally recognized by the General Authority of Sports as a juristic person, granting it operational and commercial independence. Today, the organization—operating as the UAE Pro League—oversees the commercial, operational, and contractual frameworks of professional football competitions in the UAE.

Role Overview

The Contracts Management Specialist will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing all contractual agreements while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal governance frameworks. The role requires strong analytical and legal coordination capabilities to safeguard organizational interests and maintain contractual efficiency.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare, draft, and review various contracts and agreements, including sponsorships, service agreements, vendor contracts, consultancy arrangements, and operational partnerships.
  • Ensure all contractual documents comply with applicable regulations, internal policies, and governance standards.
  • Coordinate with the Legal Department to review contractual terms and ensure legal validity and risk mitigation.
  • Manage the entire contract lifecycle—from initiation and drafting to execution, renewal, and closure.
  • Prepare executive summaries of contracts with actionable recommendations for management decision-making.
  • Monitor contractual obligations and ensure compliance with agreed terms, conditions, and timelines.
  • Maintain and update a centralized contracts database with secure electronic archiving of approved documents.
  • Track contract expiry dates and provide timely notifications for renewal or termination actions.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments (Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Media) to ensure contractual obligations are executed effectively.
  • Prepare amendments, extensions, and termination documents in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Generate periodic reports on contract status, compliance metrics, and potential risks for management review.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of contract management policies and procedures.
  • Support internal and external audit processes related to contractual compliance and documentation.
  • Ensure confidentiality and data integrity in all contract management activities.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in contracts management, legal administration, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of contract drafting, review, and lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (mandatory).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and risk assessment capabilities.
  • Ability to coordinate across departments and manage multiple contractual workflows.
  • Proficiency in contract management systems and electronic documentation tools.
  • Knowledge of UAE commercial and contractual regulations is highly desirable.
