Data Analyst – Specialist

Job Purpose

To collect, analyze, and interpret data to support strategic decision-making, monitor business performance, and improve operational efficiency through data-driven insights, reports, and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.

• Monitor KPIs and prepare performance reports for management.

• Conduct trend analysis and identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Prepare analytical summaries and presentations to support strategic planning and decision-making.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and provide actionable insights.

• Improve data quality, reporting processes, and automation of recurring reports.

• Maintain data confidentiality and comply with applicable data governance requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or performance reporting.

• Experience in developing dashboards, KPI reports, and analyzing large datasets.

• Experience in the government, media, or creative industries is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.

• Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau.

• Working knowledge of SQL and database management.

• Knowledge of statistical analysis, data visualization, and reporting automation.

• Python or R knowledge is an advantage.
