Factory Manager – Wood Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee the daily operations of a wood manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for managing production, supervising factory staff, ensuring product quality, maintaining machinery, and optimizing operational efficiency while meeting production targets and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily factory operations and ensure smooth production processes.

• Manage and supervise production teams, carpenters, and machine operators.

• Plan and monitor production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.

• Ensure quality control standards for wood products and finished goods.

• Monitor and maintain woodworking machinery and equipment.

• Optimize production efficiency, material usage, and cost control.

• Implement health, safety, and operational procedures within the factory.

• Coordinate with procurement and management for raw materials and production planning.

• Prepare production reports and performance updates for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in wood manufacturing or carpentry factories.

• Strong knowledge of wood production processes, cutting, assembly, and finishing.

• Experience managing factory workers and production teams.

• Familiarity with woodworking machines and factory maintenance.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and operational management skills.

• GCC experience is an advantage.
