We are hiring an experienced full-stack developer to build and maintain enterprise web,

backend, and mobile applications, with a focus on our new Point of Sale (POS) platform: in

store and mobile checkout integrated with payment providers and card-acceptance

hardware. You will own features end-to-end - from requirements and data model to API, UI,

and release - on modern Microsoft and Android technology stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications, REST APIs, real-time services,

and mobile applications.

• Deliver features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and database layers, with

automated tests at every layer.

• Build the POS platform: cart, pricing, discounts and promotions, tax/VAT, split tenders,

refunds and voids, shift and cash management, and end-of-day close, with VAT

compliant receipts.

• Integrate payment gateways and acquirers (online and card-present): card terminals via

semi-integrated / ECR or cloud terminal APIs, wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay), and

SoftPOS / Tap to Pay on Android.

• Design payment flows for correctness under failure: idempotent requests, timeouts and

reversals, duplicate-charge prevention, webhook handling, and settlement

reconciliation.

• Integrate in-store hardware: Android POS terminals, receipt and label printers

(ESC/POS), cash drawers, barcode scanners, customer-facing displays, and scales.

• Build offline-capable checkout that keeps selling during network outages and syncs

transactions safely when connectivity returns.

• Optimize performance of high-throughput APIs and large SQL datasets; monitor and

troubleshoot production systems.

• Build and maintain integrations with external systems, including resilient sync, retries,

and failure isolation.

• Apply secure coding practices: role-based access control, audit logging, secret

management, and dependency hygiene.

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and participate in code reviews, technical documentation,

and architecture decisions.

Skills

Frontend: React 18/19, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, TanStack Query, Zustand, SignalR /

WebSockets, Vitest / Testing Library, i18n & RTL (English + Arabic), WCAG accessibility

Backend: C# / .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core Web API, Entity Framework Core, Dapper, SignalR,

background services / workers, REST API design, authentication & RBAC, xUnit

Database & Caching: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, query & index tuning, Redis, event

streaming (Azure Event Hubs / Kafka), data migration discipline

POS & Payments: Payment gateway / acquirer APIs (e.g. Network International, Magnati,

Checkout.com, Stripe), semi-integrated terminal / ECR protocols, tokenization, 3-D

Secure, refunds and reversals, settlement reconciliation, PCI DSS scope reduction (P2PE,

no raw card data in our systems)

POS Hardware: Android POS devices (e.g. Sunmi, PAX, Ingenico), vendor SDKs, ESC/POS

printing, cash drawers, USB/Bluetooth/serial peripherals, customer displays, NFC / Tap to

Pay, device fleet management (MDM)

Mobile: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Room, Hilt, offline-first sync, barcode/QR scanning

(CameraX, ML Kit, enterprise scanners), Play/enterprise app distribution

Cloud & DevOps: Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards), Microsoft

Entra ID (OAuth/OIDC), CI/CD, observability (OpenTelemetry, Grafana), Git

AI-Assisted Development: Agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot), spec-first

prompting, multi-agent workflows, test-gated AI iteration, critical review of AI-generated

code, prompt/agent playbook authoring

AI-Native Engineering Is a Core Requirement

Our teams build with agentic AI tooling in a disciplined, spec-first workflow. We expect you

to be highly productive with AI coding agents and fully accountable for what ships: you can

specify precisely, steer effectively, and review critically. "It ran" is not "it's right".

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.

• 4+ years building production applications full-stack, including 5+ years on .NET and 5+

years on modern React; Android/Kotlin experience preferred.

• Strong SQL fundamentals and demonstrated performance work on large datasets.

• Experience building POS, retail, or payment systems, including at least one card

present terminal or payment gateway integration in production, is strongly preferred.

• Working knowledge of PCI DSS and how architecture choices (semi-integrated

terminals, P2PE, tokenization) keep card data out of scope.

• Security-first habits: least privilege, audit trails, no secrets in code.

• Clear written communication - specs, ADRs, and PR descriptions that others can act

on.
