General Helper

JOB PURPOSE

Helper is responsible for assisting with surface preparation and coating applications on various structures and equipment within the oil and gas industry. This role involves supporting the blasting and painting team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Assist in cleaning, masking, and priming surfaces to ensure they are ready for coating applications.

·    Help with the setup and operation of blasting equipment to remove old paint, rust, and other contaminants from surfaces.

·     Assist in the application of coatings using conventional, airless, and plural spray systems.

·        Help mix paints to the desired colors and consistencies according to project requirements.

·     Assist in maintaining and cleaning blasting and painting equipment to ensure proper functioning and longevity.

·         Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.

·    Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

·    Ensure that all blasting and painting activities comply with industry regulations, environmental guidelines, and client specifications.

Educational and Technical Qualifications

• Higher Secondary

Language Skills:

• Strong communication in English.

Years of Experience:

• 1 Year Experience in Oil and Gas Industry Experience

Nature of Experience

·      Basic understanding of blasting and painting systems, application methods, and inspection techniques.

· Ensuring accuracy in blasting and painting activities and documentation.

·   Ability to identify and resolve issues related to blasting and painting applications.
