HSE Inspector – Industrial

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountable in ensuring and monitoring that HSE standards are implemented in assigned area/s of responsibility

Conduct comprehensive HSE inspection of assigned area/s of responsibility

Advise TIP employees and contractors with HSE requirements and applicable standards to ensure safe operations at TIP

Participate in HSE risk assessments, recommend applicable control measures to the risks to an acceptable level

Conduct HSE inspections, and coordinate and follow up with the responsible person/s regarding closing out.

Conduct toolbox talks and other HSE trainings

Carry out accident and incident investigations ensuring that the root cause/s are arrived at and preventive measures are planned and action items are closed out

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

Academic & Professional Qualification:

·         Minimum High School diploma

·         NEBOSH Award-level H&S qualification or similar internationally-recognized qualification

·         Basic First Aid and Basic Firefighting / Fire Warden

Related Experience

·         About 4 years of related experience in manufacturing, oil and gas or industrial setting

·         Experience with HSE computer-based applications, is an advantage.
