Responsibilities:

· Ensuring high availability, performance, and security of IT environments through monitoring, automation, and regular patching.

· Managing both physical hardware and virtualized/cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) to enable business continuity.

· Installing, configuring, and updating physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux), storage systems, and networks.

· Managing hybrid or multi-cloud environments, including Azure or AWS infrastructure.

· Using specialized tools to monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure optimal uptime.

· Utilizing scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools (DevOps) to automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration management.

· Implementing security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and patching schedules to protect data and infrastructure.

· Establishing backup, redundancy, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.

· Performing backup restoration whenever needed.

· Acting as an escalation point to diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues.

· Working with developers and IT teams to align infrastructure capabilities with application needs and company growth.

· Proactively monitoring and optimizing network and system performance, including capacity planning and trend analysis.

· Driving proactive issue resolution through root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive measures.

· Maintaining comprehensive documentation for infrastructure architecture, configurations, SOPs, and incident resolutions.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computers or Networking.

Certifications:

1. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

2. Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)

3. Certified Data Center Professional

4. Cloud Solutions Certification (Microsoft or AWS)
