Junior Internal Auditor – Hospitality

Job Description:

·         Perform surprise cash counts at Front Office, Restaurants, Bars, Concierge, Valet Parking, Spa and other revenue outlets.

·         Review restaurant billing procedures, POS controls, cash collections and daily revenue reconciliations.

·         Verify room revenue, manual postings, complimentary rooms, discounts and void transactions.

·         Verify cash floats, petty cash and daily banking procedures.

·         Review No Show reports, room cancellations and rate overrides.

·         Review reservation processes and Front Office controls.

·         Review Concierge operations and revenue collections.

·         Verify room service billing and cash handling.

·         Audit outsourced restaurants, bars and concessionaires.

·         Review outsourced service provider agreements and revenue-sharing arrangements.

·         Conduct periodic audits of valet parking operations including ticket controls, cash collections, POS usage and reconciliation procedures.

·         Verify procurement processes & procedures, kitchen inventory controls and consumption.

·         Review maintenance expenditure and contractor controls.

Compliance & Internal Controls

·         Evaluate compliance with company policies and SOPs.

·         Identify control weaknesses and fraud indicators.

·         Recommend practical process improvements.

·         Perform follow-up reviews on implementation of audit recommendations.

Education:

Bachelor Degree

3 years experience as Internal Auditor

Must have experience in Hospitality Sector
