Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our client's team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating local and international shipments, managing logistics operations, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective movement of goods. Experience in global shipping and freight coordination is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments from origin to destination.
• Manage import and export documentation in compliance with UAE and international regulations.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and transport providers.
• Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
• Track shipments and provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate customs clearance and ensure all shipping documents are accurate and complete.
• Negotiate freight rates and logistics services when required.
• Resolve shipment delays, customs issues, and logistics-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logistics records, shipping documentation, and inventory movement reports.
• Work closely with the procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and international shipping standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in a shipping and logistics company.
• Proven experience in global shipping and international logistics is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation, and international freight operations.
• Experience coordinating sea, air, and land freight.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP or logistics management systems is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Nationality: Open (Filipino candidates are preferred).
• Gender: Open (Male candidates are preferred).
• Experience in the furniture industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
