Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize the organization’s network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and reliability of network systems while supporting day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and related network systems.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, performance, and configuration issues.
• Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
• Implement and maintain network security policies, access controls, and security best practices.
• Perform network upgrades, configuration changes, and infrastructure improvements as required.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring network incidents and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, configurations, diagrams, and technical records.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and service providers to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in network-related projects, system implementations, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance on network-related matters.
• Prepare technical reports and provide regular updates on network performance and issues.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in network engineering and infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience in enterprise network environments.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and wireless networks.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of network security principles and practices.
• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet, or equivalent would be an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.

Candidate Preference

• Arab nationality preferred.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE, preferably Dubai, will be considered favorably.
• Candidates must be available to work in Dubai.
