Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
To serve as a key resource for fulfilling data requests from internal sectors, executive leadership, and external stakeholders across Company. The role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of data analysis, census reporting, and validation outputs that directly inform regulatory decisions, strategic planning, and Dubai's E33 education agenda.
STRATEGIC:
• Support the section's data governance initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of data processes
• Support data architecture and governance programmes by participating in stakeholder workshops, documenting requirements, preparing workshop minutes, and coordinating with external consultants
• Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and analysis workflows
• Contribute to knowledge transfer and documentation of data processes and methodologies
• Contribute to data documentation, metadata management, and business glossary development to support data lineage, auditability, and organisational knowledge retention
• Support federal data alignment initiatives including API integrations and cross-entity data sharing with government stakeholders
Skills
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience:
• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in government, education, or regulatory environments
• Track record of preparing polished, executive-level reports and presentations
• Experience working with IT teams to translate business requirements into system changes
• Demonstrated experience in streamlining manual processes through automation
Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel, SQL, and Python (including automation and scripting)
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
• Familiar with data governance and compliance requirements
• Experience with data quality profiling, root cause analysis methodologies, and data reconciliation techniques
• Exposure to master data management concepts, data cataloguing, or metadata management tools
Nice to Have:
• Experience with education sector data or regulatory reporting
• Familiarity with Dubai Data Law and government data sharing frameworks
• Arabic language proficiency
