We are looking to hire for Spray Painter

JOB PURPOSE

The Spray Painter is responsible for performing surface preparation and applying coatings to various structures and equipment within the oil and gas industry. This role involves ensuring that all spray painting tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and client specifications

Key Responsibilities:

·    Clean and prepare surfaces of pipelines, tanks, machinery, and other equipment for painting

·   Perform sanding, masking, and priming to ensure proper adhesion of paint.

·     Apply paint, coatings, or protective finishes using spray painting equipment (e.g., airless spray guns, conventional spray systems).

·     Ensure uniform application and adherence to specified thickness and quality standards.

·         Operate and maintain spray painting equipment and tools.

·       Conduct routine checks and troubleshoot equipment issues to       ensure optimal performance.

·   Apply coatings using conventional, airless, and plural spray    systems to achieve the desired finish and protection.

·    Mix paints to the desired colors and consistencies according to project requirements.

·     Inspect surfaces before and after coating applications to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

·   Conduct tests and measurements to verify the thickness, adhesion, and curing of coatings.

·    Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

·      Supervise and coordinate the activities of the blasting and painting team.

Educational and Technical Qualifications

• High school

Language Skills:

• Strong communication skill.

Years of Experience:

• 2 Year Experience in Oil and Gas Industry Experience

Nature of Experience:

·      Strong understanding of painting systems, application methods,     and inspection techniques.

·      Ensuring accuracy in painting activities and documentation.

·  Ability to identify and resolve issues related to blasting and painting applications.
