Sr. Manager – Mechanical Maintenance (Steam & Desalination)

Job requirements / Job description:

· Planning, preparation, guidance and supervision of Mechanical Maintenance activities (Regular/planned and corrective) of Company Power Generation and desalination assets mechanical components. Those assets are composed generally of : steam turbines, waste heat recovery boilers, conventional / auxiliary steam generators, MSF (Multi Stage Flash) desalination units, RO (reverse osmosis) units, natural gas  supply and conditioning equipment (including pressure reducing stations, gas compressors and gas storage/piping), fuel oil storage systems, mechanical BOP (sea water intakes, filtration equipment, potabilization systems, pumps,  piping , valves, water storage etc.).

· Candidate will manage a team of managers, engineers and generic support Company staff.

· Will ensure timely procurement of equipment and services for efficient and reliable execution of maintenance activities. 

· Candidate will manage external maintenance sub-contractors engaged in regular mechanical maintenance of assets through specific Long-Term Maintenance Contracts.

· IT requirements: Candidate should be knowledgeable in use of MS Office and other software’s like SAP, ORACLE etc.

· Language requirements: Candidate should be fluent in English

Education:

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering

Work Experience:

Minimum 12 years of experience in power and water desalination facilities, and/or Oil & Gas industry and/or Power and Water facilities construction and related Contracts management.
