Job Description

As Talents Specialist, you will –
+ Report to the Talents Senior Specialist (himself reporting to the Director leading the Talents and Organizational Capabilities division)

+ Be part of the Talents and Organizational Capabilities division, along with the Public Relations Officer

+ Support the Company's daily Talents activities, including but not limited to, compiling and comparing Talents information, processing Talents applications, conducting employee orientation, and managing employee profiles

+ Be based in Abu Dhabi

+You will support the creation and implementation of the Company’s Talents strategy. You will participate in interactions with other sectors, divisions and sections to identify Talents needs and Company recruitment needs. You will support the implementation of the Company’s Talents policies and key processes, and review them periodically, including code of conduct, vacation policy, recruitment process, employee onboarding, employee dismissal, career paths, career development, Talents management framework. You will update organizational structures, job descriptions and KPIs for staff across Company to ensure alignment with Talents policies.

+You will support all Company recruiting activities. You will assist the Talents Senior Specialist in communicating with candidates and coordinating with partners. You will participate in reviewing applications and interviewing and selecting candidates.

+You will support the implementation of the Company’s employee training program. You will support the Talents Senior Specialist in creating the Company training program. You will coordinate trainers for all training sessions. You will support the preparations and logistics for holding training sessions. You will collect feedback after the training and submit relevant reports to the Talents Senior Specialist. You will support the identification of training needs according to performance evaluations and develop customized training plans.

+You will support day-to-day Talents activities. You will execute Talents requests on time (e.g. leave requests, document requests). You will preserve and ensure confidentiality of staff records, including e-documents.

+ Engage various stakeholders. You build constructive relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders (e.g. government entities, Abu Dhabi School of Government, external trainers, etc.), leveraging your strong communication skills.

+ Understand the local HR frameworks as well as global standards. You have deep knowledge of HR laws, policies and Government guidelines in Abu Dhabi. You have extensive knowledge of the latest HR tools and global practices.

+Show passion for the Company sector. You are fully committed to improving the well-being and outcomes of Abu Dhabi’s young children and their families.

+ Working in a HR role – preferably in the public sector in UAE

+ Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Management or equivalent
+ Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
