Director of Supply Chain

Role:

•      Formulate and enable the implementation of Supply Chain strategies, plans, policies and procedures in alignment with Ektifa’s strategies & objectives

•      Develop and oversee the function's budget to ensure financial resources are allocated efficiently and in alignment with organizational goals

•      Establish a robust framework for tracking and evaluating the effectiveness of Supply Chain initiatives across Ektifa

•      Develop and enforce supply chain frameworks, policies, and procedures, including supplier prequalification processes to ensure compliance and quality standards

•      Establish and maintain efficient systems for procurement, warehouse management, and logistics to support seamless operations across all entities

•      Maintain close oversight of supply chain operations across entities to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and cost optimization across all functions

•      Oversee supplier selection, negotiation of contracts, and management of supplier relationships across entities to ensure high-quality materials and services at competitive prices

•      Lead the logistics operations, optimizing transportation and distribution networks to ensure timely delivery of products and materials

•      Manage relationships with logistics providers, negotiate contracts, and implement strategies to reduce transportation costs and improve service levels across all entities

•      Oversee warehousing operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of inventory across all entities

•      Implement inventory management best practices to minimize costs and optimize stock levels, reducing the risk of shortages or excess inventory

•      Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, implementing improvements and corrective actions as necessary

•      Guarantee compliance with industry regulations and internal policies throughout the Supply Chain function to maintain Ektifa’s reputation for integrity and excellence

•      Provide leadership and mentorship to the Supply Chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

•      Proactively monitor emerging technology and industry trends and cascade this knowledge to team members to ensure the agile needs of the business are continuously met

DrDrive continuous improvement initiatives across the Supply Chain function to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance

Requirements:

•      Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of working in a Supply Chain department is required

•      Post-Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of working in a Supply Chain department is preferred

A minimum of 4 years of experience in a managerial position
