Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and ADNOC-approved Engineering Manager to lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering activities for ADNOC projects in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing engineering design, technical coordination, project execution support, and compliance with ADNOC standards, specifications, and project requirements.

The Engineering Manager will ensure that all engineering deliverables are completed safely, efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with ADNOC requirements and international engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from concept and detailed design through construction and commissioning support.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC engineering standards, specifications, procedures, and contractual requirements.
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams, including Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, and Pipeline disciplines.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables, calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and technical documents.
• Coordinate engineering interfaces between clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering packages in line with project schedules and milestones.
• Participate in technical bid evaluations, vendor document reviews, and procurement support activities.
• Lead design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, Constructability Reviews, Value Engineering Studies, and technical workshops.
• Identify and resolve engineering issues, technical queries, and design conflicts.
• Monitor engineering progress and provide regular reports to project management and ADNOC representatives.
• Support construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities as required.
• Manage engineering changes and ensure proper implementation through the Management of Change (MOC) process.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements throughout project execution.
• Mentor and develop engineering personnel to achieve project and organizational objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Process, Chemical, or related discipline).
• Master's Degree in Engineering or Project Management is preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of engineering experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Energy projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial engineering role on major ADNOC projects.
• Mandatory ADNOC Approval as Engineering Manager.
• Extensive knowledge of ADNOC standards, engineering procedures, and project execution requirements.
• Strong understanding of international engineering codes and standards including ASME, API, ASTM, IEC, NFPA, and ISO.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams on large-scale EPC projects.
• Experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering Design, Brownfield and Greenfield projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with ADNOC Onshore, ADNOC Offshore, ADNOC Gas, ADNOC Distribution, or ADNOC Group projects.
• Experience in oil & gas facilities, pipelines, process plants, terminals, refineries, and petrochemical projects.
• Previous involvement in EPC, EPCC, PMC, or major infrastructure projects within the UAE.
